SUPREME AWARD

The Supreme award will be presented to an overall winner who has stood out across all the categories. This award is not directly entered but selected from all applications, recognising they have excelled in every part of the awards criteria and presented to a company that has demonstrated significant and sustained local or international growth, along with a clear understanding of overseas markets. The winner will have demonstrated commercial success and outlined benefits across multiple facets including, job creation, innovation, service excellence, social responsibility, adaption, resilience, and sustainability. And as for a business that created a thriving community for the future by building skills to drive growth and social cohesion sustainably.

GENERAL AWARD CATEGORIES

The General Awards recognize businesses who demonstrated excellence in building sustainable international growth. All businesses must enter one of the general category awards based on their latest total annual revenue from 2023 to 2025.

Premier Small Business Award (Under $1M)

The Premier Small Business Award is open to all businesses in Fiji. This award will recognize a company operating locally or internationally with sales of less than $1million. SMEs have a significant contribution to the Fijian economy. The winner will be presented to a company that has emerged newly into the market and had strongly developed their products and services within their limited resources but has managed to thrive due to their uniqueness and ability to penetrate into the international markets through exports.

Premier Medium Business Award (Between $1M-$5M)

The Premier Medium Business Award is open to all businesses in Fiji. This award will recognize a company operating locally and internationally with sales from $1million to $5million. The winner will be presented to an organization that has developed and demonstrated significant growth from small to medium enterprise through creativity and developed uniqueness in quality, presentation and repertoire of the introduction of products and services to market including exports.

Premier Large Business Award (Over $5M)

The Premier Large Business Award is open to all businesses in Fiji and will recognize a company operating locally or internationally with sales exceeding $5million. The winner must have demonstrated a significant contribution towards the growth of the economy through export, a level of investment, and has an engaged workforce with an innovative business strategy with a clear vision to pave its way into the future.

SPECIAL CATEGORIES

Businesses can enter one or more special categories answering the specific special category questions.

Excellence in Outsourcing Award

The category will recognise the outstanding performance of an organisation in the outsourcing industry that has deployed strategic and innovative solutions to offer high-value services to their clients.

Excellence in Service Award

This category recognises the highest level of service excellence which consistently demonstrates excellence in teamwork and collaboration with its customers and has proven its willingness to excel in its responsiveness to its customers with great competencies and earned respect in the community.

Excellence in Agribusiness Innovation

This category recognizes a business that has outstanding export results in the Agriculture industry through sustainable value-added success.

Executive of The Year

This category is open to all business leaders and an executive who shows outstanding initiative, boldness, and imagination in the enterprise, sound management practices, and demonstrates sustainable growth combined with a commercial success that is exceptional for the size of the business.

Excellence in E-Commerce Award

This category recognises a business that has adopted and integrated digital commerce strategy, technology, and tolls and has transformed its business model, and culture to make its products accessible digitally both locally and internationally

Employer of the Year Award

This award recognizes employers who prioritize their staff, understanding that a valued workforce drives business success. It celebrates companies that have cultivated a positive, values-driven workplace, resulting in a committed, effective, and motivated team. In the context of skilled labour migration from Fiji, this initiative aims to highlight and encourage strategies for staff retention and skills enhancement. The award will showcase how businesses have adapted, diversified, and contributed to the community, including navigating crises and supporting their employees through such periods (e.g., through flexible, virtual, or co-working arrangements, and training initiatives).

Excellence in Innovation Award

Innovation is vital to a company’s success in today’s highly competitive business environment, especially as customers become more demanding and savvier. Businesses need an edge to survive and stand out. This category recognizes innovative products or services developed by introducing and inventing new ideas, workflows, methodologies, strategies that increase productivity and generate greater output by way of growth and profitability.
Best Sustainability Initiative Award

This category is open to all businesses, whether it’s going carbon neutral, reducing plastic consumption or some other sustainable initiative, this award recognizes organizations that are putting the planet first.

Exporter of the Year Award

This category recognises businesses that demonstrate strong export performance, competitiveness, and growing international market reach. This award honours excellence in market expansion, product or service quality, and adherence to international standards, while contributing to Fiji’s economic growth through increased foreign exchange earnings and job creation.

Excellence in iTaukei Enterprise Award

This category will recognize and empower a a 100% iTaukei owned business or provincial- based company that has devised a sustainable strategy that elevated the company investments portfolio, and investment diversification which impacted the community in the economic and social development.

Excellence in Primary Industries

This category recognizes a business with outstanding export performance in the agriculture, forestry, or fisheries sectors, highlighting innovation and adaptability across primary industries.

Recognition Award (*3)

This category recognizes outstanding companies that may not have won in the main categories but have demonstrated exceptional commitment, with submissions that stand out for their contributions to investment and trade in Fiji, and for consistently showing excellence, innovation, and impact. Through this award, Investment Fiji will select & honor companies for their broader contributions—not only to the economy, but also to the community—acknowledging their role in supporting sustainable growth and development in Fiji.
