Through innovative platforms and e-commerce solutions, Vodafone Fiji has revolutionized the way Fijians conduct business and shop online. The M-PAiSA App, M-PAiSA Mastercard, and VitiKart have empowered individuals and businesses alike, providing seamless and secure digital payment options and a comprehensive online marketplace that transcends beyond traditional trading boundaries.
These solutions provide seamless and secure digital payment options, making transactions easier and more accessible for Fijians.
“We have been instrumental in driving economic growth by creating business opportunities through our digital solutions. Vodafone Fiji has extended its M-PAiSA digital payment platform to four other Pacific Islands territories, interconnecting these markets to make cross border remittances more convenient and less costly. In August 2024, Vodafone Fiji set another record by exceeding $60 million in remittances for a single month. This reflects the growing trust and confidence customers have in the services provided.
Vodafone Fiji operates its award-winning M-PAiSA platform under different names in various countries: M-Vatu in Vanuatu, M-Tala in Samoa, E-Moni in the Cook Islands, and M-PAiSA in Kiribati.
“With three decades of success in Fiji, Vodafone Fiji is committed to enhancing connectivity and bridging the digital divide. Our efforts have not only improved communication services but also supported the Fiji Government’s initiatives for economic growth through digital and financial inclusion,” added Biukoto.
As a renowned telecommunications service provider in Fiji, Vodafone Fiji has been recognized for its contributions to innovation and economic development, and has previously been acknowledged at the Prime Minister’s International Business Awards for its commitment to fostering connectivity and innovation.
