“These two are partners, Fiji Pine plants and Tropik Wood processes as the manufacturer.”
“From the Fiji Pine Group, Board, Management and Staff, we are thoroughly thrilled by today’s award.”
“We truly believe that forestry is a mainstay of our economy.”
“We creep in all the rural areas of our country, perhaps areas where there is no economic activity at the moment.”
He said there would be activity if the company was able to reach that far into the rural areas of the country and use up all the unused land for forestry, as they believe the sector would go a long way in supporting the economy.
“We believe manufacturing is our expertise. That’s our forte and we would expand our manufacturing to look into mahogany seriously, get our processing improved, and of course other timbers in our country, but more importantly, sustain our current manufacturing capacity for pine,” said Vakalalabure.
He also went on to thank the men and women within Tropik Woods who carry the weight of the sector and delivering for the country.
